Govt announces SOPs for sports activities in schools

Teachers, coaches, and instructors involved in physical sports and co-curricular activities must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Education Ministry adds that tournaments are allowed to be held within school compounds.
However, only students, teachers, and coaches from the school can participate in the event.
This comes after the ministry said that sports and co-curricular activities can take place in schools starting Monday.

All Klang Valley integrated PPVs closed
All integrated vaccination centres in the Klang Valley have ceased operations.
The Health Ministry says as of Tuesday, this involves the World Trade Center, and Axiata Arena in KL, Sokkha Gokai hall in Klang, and Shah Alam’s IDCC.
Meanwhile, it says that those who are unvaccinated, or parents who wish to bring their kids to get the jab can either book an appointment or walk into selected PPVs.

86 COVID deaths while daily infections drop to 27k
86 more COVID-19 deaths were reported yesterday, including 35 brought in dead cases.
Perak recorded the most fatalities, followed by Selangor, and Kedah.
This as daily infections fell to 27,004…down by nearly 1,300 from the previous day.
There were almost more than 29,000 recoveries.
