The Education Ministry will investigate a viral incident, in which a social media influencer was invited to a school in KL as a motivational speaker.
It adds that it was not informed about the invitation.
This follows backlash from netizens claiming the individual had a bad influence on students.

Education Ministry respects Examination Board decision to revoke exam results
The Education Ministry respects the Examination Board’s decision to revoke the History paper results of 15 students who sat for the 2021 SPM examination.
It says the board is an independent body that makes decisions based on set protocols.
This comes after the board’s decision to uphold the revocation of the results went viral on social media.
According to the post, the exam results were cancelled because the students involved allegedly brought their mobile phones into the examination hall.

New cases cross 4k since April
Malaysia reported a surge in COVID-19 infections again at 4,020 yesterday.
This is up by some 400 cases from the previous day’s tally.
It’s also the first time that new infections crossed 4,000 since April.
Meanwhile, 3 more fatalities were recorded, while recoveries stood at some 1,700.
