Those attending the National Day celebration at Dataran Merdeka have been warned not to fly drones.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia says unauthorized drones could pose a safety risk to members of the public.

They could also endanger the low-flying aircraft taking part in the day’s events.

The Prime Minister has asked Malaysians to ‘wait’, for news about the upcoming general election.

This was Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s brief response, when asked by reporters if parliament could be dissolved soon, to make way for GE15.

It follows confirmation that Budget 2023 will be tabled three weeks earlier in October…fueling speculation we could be heading to the polls sometime this year.

The Education Minister says the 2023 school year, which is set to begin in March, will remain as scheduled.

This is partly to avoid the logistical problems when holding major exams, as a result of our usual year-end flooding.

The ceiling price for standard chicken will be maintained at RM9.40 per kg.

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister says the government opted not to float prices, after getting feedback from several quarters.

Cops say the PAS president will be called in soon to have his statement recorded…after a total of 28 police reports were lodged over his comments.
