Discrepancies uncovered at Finance Ministry

The Prime Minister has uncovered many cases of extreme discrepancies, after examining files at the Finance Ministry.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim – who is also the Finance Minister – did not give details, adding that he will leave the investigation to the relevant authorities.
The PM also made it clear that such irregularities cannot be allowed to continue.

Barisan Nasional will not take action against its 10 MP’s…who had previously supported Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to become prime minister after GE15.
BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says the matter has passed, and all 10 MP’s have now joined the current unity government.
However, he says the reps will continue to be monitored by the disciplinary board.

The government has identified eight items to be placed under the Festive Season Price Control Scheme for the Chinese New Year period.
The items include Bawal Putih or pomfret… white shrimp...and round cabbage.
The price control scheme will be in place for 15 days starting this Sunday…with enforcement teams to monitor prices.

The Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor has called on municipal councils to improve and upgrade animal shelters under their jurisdiction.
It follows a recent viral video showing neglected dogs at a shelter in Selangor.
