PM: Sabah Air Crash Report Declassified

The government has agreed to declassify the report into the 1976 plane crash that killed then Sabah chief minister Tun Fuad Stephens, and 10 others.

PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the report will be released next week.

He said the people of Sabah and affected families have a right to know the result of the investigation. 

The disclosure is also in line with the unity government's policy of transparency.

Also, the son of opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin has been charged in court, over alleged violations linked to the cooking oil subsidy.

He, and another accused pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court, on 9 charges over the matter.

This includes allegations that they provided fake invoices on the sale of subsidised cooking oil to a local retail company.
