The Communications and Digital Ministry is working with the police to investigate the circulation of a video clip, showing a young couple engaged in an indecent act recently.

The deputy minister says the clip is considered pornographic content, meaning it is an offence to upload or share it.

She says those caught sharing the clip on social media can be investigated and fined under the Communications and Multimedia Act.

Meanwhile, the Women, Family and Community Development Minister will be meeting with the Home Minister to get more details on the case.

This includes why the underaged girl from the incident, was handcuffed when brought to court.

An advisory body has proposed that workers be allowed to work until the age of 65 should they choose to do so.

The Malaysian Association of Social Protection Contributors’ Advisory Services says this is because of longer life expectancy, coupled with the rising cost of living.

Its also calling on employers not to exploit or take advantage of workers over 60, by only offering them employment on a contract basis.

CUEPACS is asking that salaries for civil servants this month be paid out by Friday, to help them with their preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Speaking of the upcoming festive period, PUSPAKOM is offering free voluntary vehicle inspections for all private vehicle owners until the 20th, for the benefit of those who’ll be driving back to their hometowns.
