The Kelantan state education department has confirmed that all SPM candidates there will be able to sit for their practical exam, which begins today.

State education director Datuk Mohd Zamri Abdul Aziz says this is because schools had already taken precautions, to prepare for the ongoing flooding.

The SPM Science practical test, which involves the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Additional Science subjects, will be held from today until Thursday.

-

This, as the number of flood evacuees in Kelantan rose to just over six thousand as of last night.

According to the Social Welfare Department’s portal, there are now also around 30 flood victims in Kedah.

There is good news in store for Malaysian workers.

Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil says this includes a salary increase for civil servants, while private sector employees can also look forward to the progressive wage policy.

He adds that the decision was reached during a recent Cabinet meeting, with either the PM or the Chief Secretary to the Government to make an official announcement next year.

-

PDRM will be offering discounts of up to 50% on selected traffic summonses, in conjunction with the Madani government’s one-year anniversary program.

The offer is valid only from Friday to Sunday, in the vicinity of the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
