Dec 13, 2023
The Health Ministry says the current rise in Covid-19 cases is in line with the global trend for the end of the year.
It also assured that the Covid situation here remains under control, and our healthcare facilities were operating within their capabilities.
This, as the Ministry said that the reported number of positive cases nearly doubled to 12 thousand cases, in the week ending December 9th.
Most of the cases showed mild symptoms and did not require hospitalisation.

Several objects have been recovered, that could provide investigators with new leads into the murder of Zayn Rayyan.
The Selangor police chief says the objects have been sent for analysis.
He also confirmed that three people detained in the autistic child's residential area recently were NOT connected to the case.
Rather, they were nabbed for suspected drug abuse after police conducted mass DNA screenings there.
