Child Car Death: Mother Charged In Court

The mother of a 2-year-old girl who died after being left inside a car for several hours in Ara Damansara, Selangor last month has been charged in court.  

Earlier reports said she would face action under the Child Act for abandonment and neglect.  

The child was allegedly left inside the car after the mother forgot to drop her off at a kindergarten.

The MACC has confirmed the seizure of a high-rise property in KL, linked to the family of a former Cabinet minister.  

Its chief commissioner told Astro Awani it was part of an ongoing investigation.

DBKL says the slip road from Jalan Pudu to Jalan Yew will be closed to all traffic from Wednesday next week until January 2025. 

It's to facilitate road construction works in the area.

14 people have died after a gunman opened fire at a university in the Czech city of Prague.  

25 other people were wounded in the incident, which has been described as the worst mass shooting in the country's history. 

Authorities say the gunman was a student, who had also allegedly killed his father.  

Czech authorities say they have yet to confirm a motive.
