Anwar: Next Sarawak Governor To Be Announced Soon

We will soon know the identity of the next Sarawak governor.  

PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he submitted the candidate's name to the Yang Dipertuan Agong last week, and the King has given his consent.  

The new governor will replace Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud, whose term expires on February 28th.

On another note, Datuk Seri Anwar has confirmed that the Dewan Negara president's post is vacant, and his Unity government will meet tonight to discuss a replacement.  

This, following reports that Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar had stepped down.

DPM Datuk Seri Dr Zahid Hamidi says it will impose several criteria, before motorcycle riders are eligible to automatically upgrade their B2 class licenses to full-B ones.  

This includes a minimum age of 35, while they must have held a B2 license for a certain amount of time.
