Rafizi: PADU Is Secure!

Mar 26, 2024

rafizi: padu is secure!

Your info on the PADU Database is safe from cybercriminals.

Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli says hackers have made multiple attempts to break into the government database, but they all failed.

During the first month, there were 2 million hacking attempts every day, but they were all repelled, and so far it's still impenetrable.

He adds that the data is also encrypted, meaning that even if a hacker manages to break in, they won't be able to do anything with it.

As of yesterday, 8 million Malaysians have signed up under PADU.

2 senior KK Supermart execs have pleaded not guilty at a court in Shah Alam, over the sale of socks that bear the word Allah.

The convenience store's founder and his wife were charged under the Penal Code for the deliberate intent to wound the religious feelings of others.

Three individuals from the vendor that supplied the socks were charged with abetting.

Meanwhile, police say they are investigating a Molotov cocktail attack targeting a KK Supermart outlet in Perak early this morning.

Earlier, Bukit Aman warned that cops will come down hard on anyone that resorts to vigilante action over the issue.
