KLIA Shooting Probe Almost Done

The police are close to wrapping up their probe into the recent shooting incident at the KLIA.
According to the Selangor police chief, he expects the investigation paper to be submitted to the prosecutor's office by this week.
This, as cops extended the alleged shooter's remand order until this Saturday.
The suspect is accused of firing two shots at his wife at the airport's arrival hall, and one of the bullets struck and injured her bodyguard.

Penang police say they are still investigating the recent incident, in which a woman allegedly splashed hot water at a Down Syndrome man.
They believe that it may have been sparked by a misunderstanding that happened several years ago.
Cops add that the suspect doesn't seem to suffer from mental health problems, but they may ask the court to conduct a further psychiatric examination.

MetMalaysia says Pasir Mas, Kelantan was under a Level-2 heatwave alert today, after reporting temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius for at least 3 straight days.
14 other areas in Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Sabah and Sarawak were under a less-severe Level-1 heat alert.
