Govt Demands Answers Over Vaccine Claim

The Health Ministry is contacting Astra Zeneca for clarification regarding recent reports about the side-effects of its Covid vaccine.

It wants the pharmaceutical company to submit a thorough and transparent explanation, to avoid public concern.

This comes after Astra Zeneca recently admitted that its Covid vaccine could cause rare side effects for a small number of recipients.

The government has vowed to enhance Technical and Vocational Education and Training programs.

The Prime Minister says this is to help address the shortage of some 30 thousand engineers in the country.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also stressed on the importance of focusing on Artificial Intelligence technology, to keep pace with current demands.
