Euro 2024: Gakpo Admits Netherlands Not At Their Best

Netherlands’ Cody Gakpo admits that people have yet to see the team at their best.  

This is after the Dutch side came under fire for their performances in Euro 2024.  

However, he says at the end it’s the result that matters. 

This, as Netherlands booked their spot in the semifinals, where they face England, another team that has been criticsed by both fans and the media.

Meanwhile, England boss Gareth Southgate says he’s focusing more on results than exciting football.  

This, amid criticism over the team’s disappointing performance in their quarterfinal win over Switzerland.  

He also pointed out that his team are out to make history, as they have never won the Euros, or reached a tournament final outside of England.  

England will take on Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semifinals on Thursday morning.

This, following his departure from Liverpool after his contract expired.
