Second Cyberbully Suspect Detained

Police have arrested a second suspect in the cyberbullying case of a social media influencer.  

Cops say the man in his 40's turned himself in yesterday, and should be remanded soon to assist with investigations. 

This, after authorities earlier obtained a two- day remand extension for the first suspect. 

Both are accused of cyberbullying, harassing, threatening, and making derogatory comments about the influencer...who was found dead last week.

Parents need to keep a close eye on what their children eat.

The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry says many parents are too  busy and may overlook little details, especially when their children are hungry.

It said this following the death of a three-year-old boy in Kedah after he accidentally consumed poison laced snacks.

His brother also remains in critical condition after eating the same snack, which was left out by a gardener to trap monkeys.

The Selangor government has collected 38 million ringgit until last year by charging 20 sen for every plastic bag.

A state official explained that the money collected will be channeled into organizing environmental awareness programs.

In Kelantan, authorities say they're looking into reports that secondary school students there are using vape laced with “magic mushroom” liquid.

The deputy MB adds that they’ll hold discussions with the state's education department soon on the matter.

There's been a 41% increase in violations of personal data regulations this year compared to last year.

The Digital Ministry says the spike is concerning, because authorities have been actively implementing enforcement efforts.

The Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry says Malaysia has lost 3.4 billion ringgit over the past five years, due to electricity theft for cryptocurrency mining.
