popular tiktok bus driver detained

The bus driver who posted videos of underaged female students on his popular Tik Tok account without their parents' consent, has been arrested.  

Cops add that they've received a police report over the incident and are currently conducting their investigation.  

Earlier, the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry urged authorities to take action on the driver, saying his videos are a violation of the child’s rights and privacy. 

He is also under fire for inappropriate captions on these videos.

Over half of Malaysians believe that teachers and schools should shoulder the responsibility of teaching digital literacy and online safety to our nation's children.

According to a new Ipsos survey, only around 40% believe that the responsibility should fall on parents alone.

Meanwhile, the survey also revealed that seven out of ten Malaysians want social media banned for kids under the age of 14.

Meanwhile, just slightly over half of Malaysians believe children of the same age should be banned from using smartphones entirely.

The sinkhole that formed in Jalan Masjid India last month was an isolated incident.

The Housing and Local Government Ministry explained that the incident should not be used as an indicator that the capital is dangerous.

It also assured that major cities nationwide are regularly assessed to ensure there are no structural or environmental hazards.

He says the account does not belong to him, and urged people to ignore any messages from it.

Police have recorded the statement of the mother of a 10-year[1]old boy who drove his parents' car and was involved in a collision with two other vehicles in Seremban earlier this week.
