DBKL: Jln Masjid India Area Is Safe

The KL City Hall has once again reiterated that the Jalan Masjid India area is safe to visit.

DBKL explained that the judgment was made based on reports from the sinkhole incident's taskforce that has already met for discussions.

Relevant agencies have also assured that the sinkhole was an isolated incident.

The Perak Fire Department has identified 21 hotspot areas that are at high-risk of water surge incidents.

It adds that many of these spots are popular picnic areas and urged residents to avoid water-related recreational activities for the time being.

Wildlife officials say the Section 7 lake in Shah Alam is safe after a croc was spotted and captured there earlier this month.

Officials assured that close surveillance through night vision drones and traps have not detected any other reptiles in the area.
