Sinkhole Victim's Family Free To Sue

The family of the Jalan Masjid India Sinkhole victim are free to file a lawsuit over her death.
Federal Territories Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa says they can do so if they feel that it’s necessary.
She also told the Dewan Rakyat that so far, the family has received RM40,000 in compassionate payments from DBKL and the corporate sector.

The Galen Centre has renewed its call for the introduction of a National Health Insurance Scheme under Budget 2025.
The think tank told FMT that this can boost funding for healthcare services, as the country has already reached its limit of a tax-based funding system.
Budget 2025 will be tabled in Parliament on Friday.

A senior assistant at a primary school in Ipoh has been arrested, for allegedly sexually harassing a 12-year-old pupil.
