Online, Remote Learning For Hindu IPT Students

All public higher learning institutions will implement online or hybrid teaching and learning for Hindu students and educators in conjunction with Deepavali.
The Higher Education Ministry says it will involve all of its institutions including g universities, polytechnics and community colleges.
It will be implemented on the three days before Deepavali, and the day after.
Meanwhile the Public Service Department says Hindu civil servants can choose to take one day of unrecorded leave either before or after Deepavali.
This year’s Deepavali falls on this coming Thursday.

MCMC is taking action, amid complaints of child grooming groups being active on social media.
The Communications Ministry says the commission is working with social media platforms and the Police on the matter.
PDRM’s Child Investigations Division is conducting the investigation, while MCMC will assist with data preservation and account profiling.

The Fire and Rescue Dept has identified over 5,600 hotspots where flooding could occur during the Northeast Monsoon.
It has also identified 254 critical slopes that are at risk of landslides, and 200 locations where water surges can happen.
Meanwhile, MetMalaysia says Terengganu can expect heavy rain and thunderstorms in the afternoons and evenings until tomorrow, due to the typhoon that is currently present in the South China Sea.

Bukit Aman says it’s a crime to for owners to damage cars that are being repossessed, as they are technically owned by banks or financial institutions.
It told The Star, that doing so would fall under the crime of committing mischief which is liable to a fine of and up to 5 years jail.
This, after a viral video showed a woman trying to smash up her car’s windscreen as it was being reposessed.
