asean summit: pdpr schools to be announced soon

The Education Ministry will soon release its list of schools that will implement home-based teaching and learning, during this month's ASEAN Summit in KL.

It's to reduce any public inconvenience due to any road closures during the two-day event.

Meanwhile, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil says those who need to commute to their workplaces on those two days are encouraged to take public transport.

The summit will be held from the 26th and 27th of May.

8 other injured personnel are still receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, police say they plan to record statements from more than 60 individuals over the crash, which killed 9 people.

They include personnel who were at the scene, as well as the owner of the lorry that collided with the FRU transport vehicle.

Also, the lorry's driver has been remanded for four days to help with investigations.

And the Cabinet has given the Transport Ministry one month to complete its separate investigation into the crash.
