Students urged to practice social distancing when they return to school

The Health Ministry says Form 5 and 6 students will not be required to use face masks when they return to school on June 24th as the number of Covid-19 infections is dropping.
Instead, its Health Director General urged students to adhere to social distancing and hand hygiene procedures.
Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says social distancing is highly effective in reducing the risk of Covid-19 outbreaks.
This comes as we reported 33 new Covid-19 infections and one fatality yesterday, bringing the death toll to 119.
There are currently 1,115 active cases still receiving treatment.
Tabling of Budget 2021 postponed
The tabling of Budget 2021 will be postponed by a month to November 6th.
The Dewan Rakyat says the postponement was made after taking into consideration the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
Meanwhile, the second meeting of the Dewan Rakyat, will be held for 25 days from July 13th.
Court to hear Tun M's injunction applications on June 18

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and 5 other BERSATU leaders have filed an application for an interim injunction to maintain status quo pending disposal of their main legal action against their termination from the party.
The KL High Court is set to hear the application for the injunction next week.
