Malaysia records highest number of daily recovered patients

Over 330 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital today, the highest number of daily recoveries since the start of the Movement Control Order.
Meanwhile 11 new cases were reported, raising the total number to 8,505.
However, only 650 are active cases.
The death toll remains unchanged at 121.
Prime Minister Office denies claims PM broke quarantine rules
The PM’s Office has denied allegations made by news portal Sarawak Report that the Prime Minister broke quarantine rules and flew overseas to seek medical treatment.
It confirmed the PM was under quarantine after coming into contact with an officer who tested positive for COVID-19, but assured Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin did not leave his house during the 2-week period.
Administrative MCO in Bukit Changgang lifted today
The administrative movement control order placed in two areas in Bukit Changgang, Selangor ended today.
This is after the Health Ministry completed its COVID-19 test screenings on over 4,000 residents.
Authorities say that nine people have tested positive and are being treated in hospital.
