Over 80,000 summonses issued from day one of RMCO

PDRM issued over 80,000 summonses against road users since the first day of the implementation of the Recovery Movement Control Order, RMCO last week.
Among the major offences were driving over the speed limit, expired licenses and disobeying traffic signs.
Bukit Aman told Bernama that almost 40 million outstanding summonses had not been settled by the public since the year 2000.

The police are probing the owner of a 'Hannah Yeoh' Facebook account under the Sedition Act for allegedly producing a seditious and inflammatory post.
However, former deputy women, family and community development minister Hannah Yeoh reiterated that the post, attributed to her, is fake.
Rayshard Brooks shooting: US policeman faces murder charge

The Atlanta officer, who fatally shot African American Rayshard Brooks last week, will be charged with murder and 10 other charges.
Officials say the other officer involved plans to testify as a witness in the case.
The decision comes in the wake of nationwide protests over the deaths of black Americans in police custody.
