Total COVID-19 recovered patients now at 8,000

8,000 COVID-19 cases in Malaysia have now recovered.

This is after 127 people were discharged from hospital today

Meanwhile 14 new cases were reported, raising the total number of infections to 8,529

Only 500 or so are active cases.

The death toll remains unchanged at 121.

Physical akad nikah ceremonies allowed in Selangor

Starting Monday, Muslims couples in Selangor will be able to have a physical akad nikah ceremony.

JAIS says 15 people will be allowed to attend, while following strict SOPs.

In previous phases of the MCO, such ceremonies had to be conducted online.

Selangor to allow more people during Friday and congregational prayers

Selangor is raising the number of worshippers allowed to attend Friday and congregational prayers at mosques in the state

250 will be allowed at the state mosque in Shah Alam, instead of 40.

While others can have a maximum of 150 at one time.
