Police are in talks with the Attorney-General's Chambers to push for heavier penalties agains those involved in drug-fuelled parties.

The cops say there's been a rise in such parties of late, not just in big cities but in semi-urban areas as well.

Bukit Aman's Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department is also asking for more personnel, saying its current manpower of about five thousand is not sufficient to tackle the drug menace.

Accoding to figures by the UK's Office for National Statistics, less than a quarter of those who tested positive reported having symptoms on the day of their test.

This further emphasises how some people who are not aware that they're carrying the virus, can go on and spread it to others.

He took a test after developing symptoms, including a high temperature.

Bolsonaro has repeatedly played down the risk of the coronavirus and has opposed lockdowns to curb the outbreak, which he says hurts the economy.
