Water supply in 74 areas fully restored

74 areas in the Klang Valley involved in the recent scheduled water disruption have had their water supply restored.
Air Selangor is advising residents in these areas to leave their taps running until the water looks clean and clear.
Nearly 300 areas in Petaling, Klang, Gombak, KL and Kuala Langat were affected due to upgrading works at the Sungai Selangor Phase 3 water treatment plant.
The Health Ministry has advised flood victims displaced at temporary shelters to be mindful of the SOPs for Covid-19.
It is urging them to practise social distancing, wash hands with soap and water and observe good hygiene when coughing or sneezing.
There are more than 800 flood evacuees seeking shelter in Pahang, Johor and Melaka.
