MACC denies arresting Syed Saddiq

The MACC has denied arresting Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman after he showed up at its HQ yesterday to give his statement to assist the probe into his missing cash.
The agency says the former Youth and Sports Minister was questioned for 11 hours adding that the investigation is still ongoing.
The MACC launched the investigation following a complaint related to the loss of 250 thousand ringgit, which Syed Saddiq had reported to police in March.
BERSATU will officially announce the winners of the party's central polls during its general assembly on September 27.
It says although the president and deputy president posts only had one contender each, they will have to wait until all the divisions concludes their respective polls in August.
PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is the sole candidate for the president post, while Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu is being nominated for deputy president.

Perak has launched the first drive-in cinema in the country which is located in Downtown Meru.
The cinema, which was developed in less than a month, can accommodate up to 70 vehicles at any one time.
