Loan moratorium extended, but only for certain people

The six-month moratorium on loan repayments will be extented, but only to certain borrowers.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says the those who were made unemployed this year, and have yet to find a new job will have their moratorium extended by three months.
While those whose salaries were cut will have their monthly payments lowered for six months.
Banks have also agreed to provide assistance to other borrowers.
This includes only paying the interest on their loans, and extending the overal loan period.
Active COVID-19 infections now at 220
The number of active COVID-19 infections now stands at 220, after 13 new cases were reported today.
Five were local transmissions, while the rest are imported cases.
The death toll still stands at 124.
Reopening of schools in Kuching, Padawan, and Samarahan postponed to mid-August
Primary and secondary schools in Sarawak's Kuching, Padawan and Samarahan districts will need to wait longer before being allowed to re-open, following a rise in COVID-19 cases.
Classes are set to resume on August 17th.
Meanwhile, students in preschool, form five, and upper six classes will go on as usual.
