PM: Enjoy the long weekend, but don't ignore SOP's

The Prime Minister is urging Malaysians to follow the set SOP's over the long weekend, including avoiding large gatherings.
In his Hari Raya Haji address, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminded that while Muslims can celebrate the occasion, they need to be mindful that Covid-19 is still a threat.
The Health Ministry has also echoed the PM's message, urging Malaysians not to forget to practice social distancing, to wear a mask in public and practice good hand hygiene.
Report those who breach home quarantine
Members of the public are urged to lodge reports if they spot anyone with pink quarantine wristbands out and about in public areas.
Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the government is very serious about cracking down on these individuals, who are breaking home-quarantine SOP's.
It comes after recent incidents, where individuals with the pink wristbands were spotted out in public, when they should have been isolating themselves at home.
Meanwhile, Selangor police are tracking down 88 individuals who failed to undergo their second Covid-19 screening after being placed under home quarantine.
The cops are warning these people to get the screening done as soon as possible, warning that offenders face stern action.
You can uninstall GerakMalaysia app
The Gerak Malaysia smartphone app, which was used to track inter-state movement during the MCO, will be discontinued from today.
The police and the MCMC say users can now uninstall the applicaton, with all personal details to be submitted to the Health Ministry, while movement records will be erased.
Pos Malaysia suspends international deliveries
Pos Malaysia says starting Monday, it is suspending all international deliveries, except to Singapore.
The national postal carrier says its because of Covid-19 related service disruptions, including flight restrictions, airport closures and tighter cross-border travel in other countries.
Dissolution of Sabah state assembly made official
The dissolution of the Sabah state assembly has been gazetted, and made official by the Yang diPertua Negeri.
A copy of the gazette has been made available to the press, while the Election Commission has also been notified.
This, after Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal yesterday announced the dissolution of the state assembly, paving the way for snap elections in Sabah.
