Don't wait until the last minute to apply for loan moratorium extension

Those eligible for the extended loan moratorium have been urged to meet with bank authorities starting this Friday. 

The Deputy Finance Minister urged people not to wait until the last minute to do so.

It's to avoid congestion at banks during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

National Security Council releases list of mandatory face mask areas

The National Security Council has issued a list of locations where it is mandatory to wear a face mask in public, five days after the order came into effect. 

In a new infographic, it identified 14 categories of places where it is punishable by law if you fail to put on a mask.

This includes houses of worship, public transport, sports and recreation areas, as well as restaurants.

Malaysia reports 21 new COVID-19 cases

Malaysia reported 21 new COVID-19 cases today, raising the number of active infections to 196. 

Six are local transmissions, three of which are linked to the Sivagangga cluster in Kedah. 

The death toll remains at 125.
