Finance Minister explains decision to reveal direct negotiation projects

The Finance Minister has revealed why he released the list of govt projects awarded via direct negotiations under the Pakatan Harapan administration.

Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz reiterated that he did it in the interest of transparency...

This comes after his Ministry issued a statement with details of the projects worth RM 6.61 billion.

Tengku Zafrul stressed that the issue should not be politicised, adding that he was merely answering the questions raised for him in the Parliament.
 

The Tawar and Sivagangga clusters are likely to be linked!

This, after the health ministry found matches between the samples taken from both clusters.

Samples from the Tawar cluster also have the D614G mutation, which is said to be an aggressive Covid-19 strain.

The Tawar cluster has so far 63 active cases, while the Sivagangga cluster has 7.
