Visitors from three countries banned from entering Malaysia

All long term pass holders from India, Indonesia and the Philippines will be barred from entering Malaysia due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in these countries.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the new ruling will affect permanent residents, expatriates, those involved in the Malaysia My Second Home program, spousal visa holders, and foreign students.
It will come into effect starting September 7th.
Malaysians becoming complacent amid RMCO
Too many Malaysians are no longer following SOPS under the Recovery MCO.
This as almost 780 people were arrested yesterday for flouting several RMCO rules.
The Defence Minister says 670 of them were issued compounds, the highest since the RMCO started.
Most of them were nabbed at nightclub and pub activities.
As such, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says harsher action needs to be taken, following the high number of arrests.
Malaysia's COVID-19 death toll rises to 128
21 COVID-19 patients recovered today, while Malaysia reported 14 new infection cases.
This means the number of active infections has gone down to 151.
Meanwhile the Health Ministry has detected a new cluster, called the Benteng cluster in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
One fatality was reported today, raising the death toll to 128.
