More countries added to Malaysia's COVID-19 ban list

The government has added more countries to the list of foreign nationals who are barred from entering Malaysia.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says it involves foreigners coming in from countries with more than 150,000 positive COVID-19 cases.
Affected countries include the US, Brazil, France, Saudi Arabia, and Italy.
The new ruling will come into effect next Monday, along with the order to ban visitors from Indonesia, India and the Phillipines.
48% of Malaysians believe COVID-19 vaccine to be ready by end of 2020
Nearly half of Malaysians are confident a COVID-19 vaccine will be ready before the end of the year.
According to a survey by market researchers Ipsos, this makes Malaysia the eighth most optimistic country in the world, in terms of vaccine availability.
China is the most optimistic nation, at 87%, while Japan and most Western countries aren't convinced a vaccine will be ready by that time.
Active COVID-19 infections rises to 163
The number of active COVID-19 infections has risen to 163, after 14 new cases were reported today.
Of the new cases ten are local transmissions
The death toll remains unchanged at 128.
