All four Selangor River water treatment plants resume operations

All four water treatment plants at the Selangor River that were previously shut down due to pollution have resumed operations in stages since last night.
Air Selangor says authorities conducted cleaning efforts for ten hours yesterday, to ensure the treatments plants are fully operational.
It will inform consumers when water supply will return by area once its distribution system is stabilised.
Yesterday, its CEO announced residents would need to wait for at least four days for water to return after its treatment plants resume operation.
Police detain four individuals of a factory believed to be cause of Klang Vallet water cuts
Selangor police have detained four owners of a factory suspected to be responsible for polluting a river in Rawang, which left Klang Valley residents without water.
Cops say they will apply for a remand order today to help with further investigations.
Almost 1,300 areas throughout the Klang Valley have been affected by the unscheduled water cuts.
Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister to take legal action against fake news spreaders
The Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister says he did not visit the Netherlands during the Recovery MCO.
He explained that the viral photos of him and his wife in the European country were taken from four years ago.
The Minister adds that he will take legal action against those spreading the fake news.
