Water supply restored in almost 950 areas

Sep 07, 2020

Gangguan bekalan air di Selangor, KL minggu depan | Astro Awani

Almost 950 locations in the Klang Valley affected by massive water cuts since Thursday, have had their taps flowing again.

Air Selangor says the remaining 481 areas are still in the process of being restored.

Meanwhile, it stressed that a viral message that rationing exercise will be carried out and that the water is not safe for consumption is fake news.

A supply disruption hit Klang Valley residents last week, after 4 treatment plants were forced to close due to river pollution along Sungai Selangor.

Billboards in the federal capital must be first vetted by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka to ensure the correct usage of Bahasa Melayu.

DBKL says other languages can be used so long as they are accompanied by a BM translation.

This came after a billboard that was primarily in Chinese was removed yesterday.
