JPJ will work with other enforcement agencies over incidents involving cyclists on highways.

Its director-general Datuk Seri Shaharuddin Khalid says JPJ does not have jurisdiction over cyclists, and could only advise them on issues relating to road safety.

This following a recent social media post about a group of cyclists riding near the highway to Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, who allegedly posed a road hazard to motorists.

The Health Ministry urged residents there, which is placed under the administrative enhanced MCO, to cooperate with authorities to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

It has also identified a few high-risk areas around the district and the process of screening residents are currently underway.

Kampong Boy
The mysterious deaths of buffaloes belonging to a teenager in Terengganu, who earned the nickname 'Kampong Boy', is not the first incident in the state this year.

The state Vet Department clarified that other breeders also suffered the same fate, after 22 buffaloes and 15 cows died last month in Marang.

It has taken samples to determine the cause of death of the animals.
