Kapar NOT under CMCO

The Kapar sub-district in Selangor will NOT be included under the Conditional MCO set to be enforced in Klang.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob adds that certain essential services will be allowed to operate during the order period.

This includes wholesale and farmer's markets, which will operate during selected hours.

Night markets however will NOT be allowed to take place.

The Klang sub-district, along with Papar, Tuaran and Sandakan in Sabah will be placed under a CMCO from midnight tonight.

New COVID cases still within 3-digit range

375 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, including 4 imported cases. 

Sabah had 271 cases, while 36 were in Selangor, 16 in Kedah and KL had 12.

The overall death toll has risen by 5 to 146.

PAGE hails Red Zone school closure

The Parents Action Group for Education has hailed the government for its decision to close all schools in COVID-19 red zones.

It also called on parents to do their part to ensure that their kids' education isn't affected.

Its Chairman suggests monitoring and supervising their kids at home.
