Schools with Covid-19 cases can close immediately

The Education Ministry has been given the greenlight to order a school closure if there are teachers or students who test positive for Covid-19.

Following a virtual National Security Council meeting, PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said they do not have to wait for a risk assessment by the Health Ministry.

On a different matter, the PM says most of the Covid-19 clusters in Kedah have not recorded new cases.

He explained that most clusters including the Sivagangga, Muda and Sanglang clusters did not record any new cases.

Another 3 Covid-19 clusters have been detected in the country!

The Health Ministry says the three clusters known as Atap, Bah Lada and Bah Sahabat were in Sabah, Perak and Terengganu respectively.

This comes as we recorded 354 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, raising the number of active cases to 3,863.

Hajiji disahkan positif COVID-19 | Astro Awani

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor has tested positive for Covid-19. 

His PR secretary confirmed this and noted that Hajiji is currently hospitalised and is in stable condition.

The chief minister had voluntarily undergone self-quarantine several days ago after one of his staff was found positive for Covid-19.
