Anwar meets King

Oct 13, 2020

PKR Chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has handed the Yang di-Pertuan Agong documents to back up his claim of holding a majority in Parliament.

He urged Msians to remain patient, while the King makes a decision.

Anwar claimed to have the support of over 120 members of Parliament.

Meanwhile, Istana Negara says Datuk Seri Anwar only presented the King with the NUMBER of supporters he has, and NOT the names of MPs who support his claim.

As such, the King has advised Datuk Seri Anwar to abide by and respect the legal process in the Federal Constitution.
