More recovered COVID-19 patients than new cases

Eight more people have died due to COVID-19, raising our death toll to 294.

Meanwhile, the number of patients released from hospital today exceeded the number of new infections.

1,345 were released compared to 972 new cases.

The Health Ministry also detected six new clusters nationwide.

Budget 2021 won’t be passed easily

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says Budget 2021 may not be passed easily. 

He told Parliament that this is because it failed to touch on several issues concerning the public amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 

As such, he feels the Finance Ministry should review the budget's allocations, especially in helping frontliners, and stimulating the economy.

EMCO to be enforced in Kg.Sabah Baru, Lahad Datu

An Enhanced MCO will be enforced in Kampung Sabah Baru in Lahad Datu, due to a rise in COVID-19 infections. 

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the order takes effect from midnight tonight until November 23rd.
