Malaysia has recorded more than 2,000 Covid-19 cases in a day for the first time ever!

This as we reported 2,188 new infections yesterday, bringing the number of active cases in the country to over 14,000.

The spike was once again caused by the Teratai cluster, which is linked to 28 factories in Klang, Selangor.

On the flip side, the Health Ministry also reported about 1,600 recoveries.
