19 investigation papers opened against company linked to Teratai Cluster

A company linked to the COVID-19 Teratai cluster involving its foreign workers is set to face charges for failing to provide adequate living conditions for its employees.

The HR Ministry says the Department of Labour of Peninsular Malaysia has opened 19 investigation papers against the company.

This follows the government’s decision yesterday to extend the Enhanced MCO at its worker’s dormitory in Selangor for two more weeks.

Don’t flee or else

Residents in Perak living in areas affected by the Enhanced MCO have been urged to comply with COVID-19 SOPs.

This is after police say they will track down any individuals who flee from EMCO areas.

This as the EMCO in two residential areas there took effect today, involving Taman Pinji Mewah and Taman Klebang Jaya, in Ipoh.
