Company linked to Teratai cluster will improve workers' housing soon

A company linked to the Covid-19 Teratai cluster involving its foreign workers says it has been sourcing for more accommodation for its workers and is expected to complete the process by the end of the month.
This as the company is set to face charges for failing to provide adequate living conditions for its employees.
The HR Ministry says the Labour Department has opened 19 investigation papers against the company.
Malaysia has recorded more Covid-19 recoveries than new cases for the 3rd consecutive day, with over 1,500 new recoveries.
This as we reported about 1,400 new infections, bringing the number of active cases down to below 11,000.
Kelantan has imposed a ban on weddings and other public gatherings in Kota Baru to slow the spread of Covid-19.
Those caught flouting the directive will be fined RM1,000.
