Stay home guys! There’s No Countdown To Usher in 2021!

Dec 29, 2020

Time flies. In a couple of days, we will be bidding goodbye to 2020 and welcoming the new year.

However, with the Covid-19 pandemic raging on and restrictions in place, ushering in 2021 will be a much-subdued affair to many.

What’s worse is that there won’t be any mass gatherings on new year’s eve!

Sorry to those who were looking forward to watch fireworks at KLCC this year.

The government says big celebrations like this will not be allowed because it involves gatherings that make it difficult to practise physical distancing.

The Senior Minister for Security also warned that the government might revert to stricter SOPs, if the people fail to adhere to them during the year-end holidays.

For those who are looking to end the year with a loud bang (but still keeping safe), you could STAY AT HOME and enjoy yourselves.

Think about it, you won’t have to deal with massive crowds at clubs to party.

Have fun but stay safe for Malaysia. Don’t forget that our collective fight against Covid-19 is still ongoing.
