Night clubs, pubs still prohibited during RMCO

Activities at pubs and nightclubs are still prohibited except those operating as restaurants.

This, as the recovery MCO was extended for another three months until March 31st.

The government says tourism activities will continue to be allowed under strict SOPs.

Covid-19 infections continued to stay high on the first day of the new year, lifting the country’s overall cases to over 115,000.

This comes as the Health Ministry reported 2,068 new Covid-19 cases, with Selangor maintaining pole position with 776.

Meanwhile, another 3 people succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 474.

A helicopter that crashed while trying to land in an open area near the Port Klang Free Zone in Pulau Indah yesterday, is believed to have been conducting flight training.

Police say the pilot likely lost control of the aircraft while hovering.
