Water supply disruption to affect nearly 4 million
Dec 15, 2016
Close to 4 million Klang Valley residents will be hit by a scheduled water supply disruption this Monday, December 19th.
The National Water Services Commission says it's linked to maintenance works carried out by TNB at the Bukit Badong substation in Hulu Selangor.
Such work is conducted once every three years to prevent malfunctions or unscheduled electrical disruptions at the region's main water treatment plants.
Affected areas in Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Selangor and KL will be without water for around 16 hours, from 8am until midnight.
