EC: 270,000 new voters in 4th quarter of 2016

270 thousand people registered as new voters in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The Election Commission says another 80 thousand voters had applied to change their polling district in the 3-month period. 

It adds, voters can check on their details in the supplementary electoral roll, which will be on display nationwide for 2 weeks, starting Tuesday.
