H5N1 detected in 'kampung' chickens at a village in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

The H5N1 strain of bird flu has been detected in 'kampung' chickens at a village in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Officials say the strain is so far only limited to the one village, adding that efforts have already been taken to cull the birds there.
They also assured local residents that its still safe to consume chicken, and urged the public not to panic.
