Drivers have slowed down…

Drivers have slowed down on the roads since the Automated Awareness Safety System, AWAS, came into effect last Saturday.
The Transport Ministry monitored 14 AES cameras installed nationwide up till Monday, and found that the speed of vehicles had dropped.
It will release detailed information on the matter in a month, but says hopefully, the govt won't have to use enforcement after the implementation of AWAS.
