402 primary and secondary schools nationwide...

402 primary and secondary schools nationwide have been identified as misdemeanour and disciplinary hotspots.

The Education Ministry says most of the schools are located in Selangor, followed by Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Penang.

However, it maintains the number of schools in the hotspot category is under control, with all misdemeanours recorded in the Students Discipline System.

Some 10 to 15 students are considered hardcore in each of the hotspot schools.
